Why I’m Offering a Live Event During These Times

Please know that I take your health and wellbeing very seriously.

I strongly believe that by offering this retreat, I am serving to assist participants in fortifying their health—physical, emotional and mental.

The owner of the retreat venue and I are ensuring the safety and peace-of-mind of all participants by taking several special measures.

Extra Precautions Being Taken:

  • Our small group will be the only group on the entire property for the duration of our retreat. 

  • We are putting every participant in a single, private room for the double room rate. (!!!)

  • Our activities will take place in the large (and beautiful) Dodecagon, which can comfortably accommodate up to 25 people at six feet distancing. (And our group won’t be that big).

  • Each person can sit in the dining area at whatever distance they feel most comfortable because there will be plenty of space to do so.


I am also confident that, for multiple reasons, participation in this retreat will leave you healthier than you were when arriving!

What is Lu Jong?


Lu Jong is an ancient Tibetan practice from the Buddhist Tantrayana tradition. Rooted in principles of Tibetan Medicine, it is a series of movements developed for the purpose of self-healing. 

With this practice, you will be able to release blockages on the physical, energetic, and mental levels. The result is that you can effectively combat disease and imbalances, transform negative emotions, and increase your vitality.

Lu Jong is accessible to people of all ages, abilities and beliefs. The combination of rhythmic movements and breathing gently massages the body, targeting particular energetic points. It also cultivates a profound calm in the mind and emotions.

The Full Lu Jong Level 1 practice includes:

  • The Five Elements Movements (for opening the spine and general balancing)

  • The Five Body Parts Movements (for the musculoskeletal system)

  • The Five Vital Organ Movements (for improving function of the kidneys, heart, lungs, spleen and liver)

  • The Six Conditions Movements (for helping common imbalances such as digestion, senses, mood, and body temperature)

  • The Two Movements for Sleep and Wakefulness (for shifting your energy quickly)
